Just back from a few days away and gearing up for work again tomorrow. Had a great New Year with friends - one of which is an actor and had a spectacular death scene in the 2010
Wolfman, so we had to get that out for a watch over NYE. I also overate cheese which left me with a stomach like a brick, damn that tasty Stichelton!
Other than that the great house purchase has begun - getting the essentials in only as had forgotten how expensive it in when you move into a new pad, when you realise everything you have doesn't fit in the new place and you have to pretty much start again. So far have managed to get a washer/dryer, and the following table and chairs which is lovely though, so at least we can sit down and eat somewhere other than our laps for the first time ever. How sort of adult!
Its G Plan table and chairs from I think late 60s maybe early 70s, but to a 60s design. The table extends so can seat 8 people so is ideal for folks like us who normally only have a few people round but might need to seat more sometimes. Its mainly teak I think so should fit the colour of the kitchen units - I'm thinking with a little paint, vintage wallpaper and a star clock, the kitchen will be sorted pretty quickly...unlike everything else in the house!
In other news also started second series of X Files....more on that later. Though Gillian Anderson's wardrobe's not improved yet...
